Quest Reporting for SharePoint

0 minute read

Over the last week or so, I’ve had the opportunity to work with the reports available in Quest’s Site Administrator for SharePoint toolset.  The out of the box reports that it provides can help you greatly in administering your farm.  See this PDF document for a list of all of the out of the box reports.

Since it’s built on Reporting Services, you can also create what ever custom reports you might need.  For instance, in just a few minutes we created a report that showed us the Site Administrators for every Site Collection in the farm.

There’s a freeware version you can take a look at to see some of what it can do, and also a trial version, both available at the above link.

  1. Hi Marc,

Thanks for reviewing our product! I’ll appreciate if you find couple minutes and drop me a line at on what you liked/disliked about the product. We’re trying to keep this more than just reporting, not sure whether you had a chance to use management functionality as well.

  2. Uri:
Since Quest is one of your big competitors (from the looks of it), I’d suggest that you take the time to look at their products!
  3. Hi,
    thanks for the notification.
I didn’t have time to check the product myself, can you say if it prrovides usage reports like our own product ?
    Uri, Intlock.
